1. Any major chords-c major, d major, and so on. There are too many to name. Look in a book of chords and anything that doesn't have and m (minor) after the name of the chord is one from the major scale. Good luck!

  2. any major chords are going to sound "happy" and minor ones are going to sound "sad"

  3. Generally, any major chord is going to sound happy

my favorite "happy" sounding chords are D major, E major, and A major if that helps : )

Remember in writing the song though, the occasional suspended chord might mix it up a bit and add more flavor than using just one type (in this case the "happy" major chords) of chord. Hope that helps!

  4. ummm i think is the F7 chord but im not sure. its the chord at the end of each verse in Under the Bridge

    i love playin that one

    but yea... C, D, F, B, Csus4

  5. i don't think Major chords are always happy, come on Titanic sound track is major and it's sad oriented. However, Major chords are more successful to give you a "happy" atmosphere.

You can rely on the American model "turn around" C Maj/ A min/ F Maj/ G Maj, it's a popular cliché and out of it try to make chromatic variations, like going F, F#, G ... you know the rest, one on the rhythm and the solos should be altered notes and moves.

    Best Luck
