  1. Matt uses a Manson Guitar, which are world renown in england and pretty expensive, what makes it so special is that he has a built in Kaoss Pad, this are midi controllers, imagine being able to group all your effects on a digital toucscreen on ur guitar, mix them and control by moving ur pick or finger on the pad, the x-y (and now featuring z) axis lets you control the dynamics in a way that no pedal or floor processer will ever let you do, and when not in use it changes colors to the rythm of the guitar in pretty much every color, the pad itself ranges..

other: matt also uses a line 6 floor effects module, which is more digital effects but maybe for storage reasons it wont fit..

sites: the first is korg.com this is where the koass pad is by iteslf note: they dont actual install them into guitars, the second site is where manson guitars are, the third site is a wiki about matt b's gear, and the fourth site is what the line 6 floor pod is and what it does

  2. Don't really know, but muse rocks!!!
