What guitar size should I get?

I'm learning guitar on my great grandpa's old acoustic, but I'm a lot smaller than he was and the guitar seems way too big for me. It actually hurts my right arm when I try to play. Is there a specific guitar size I need to get, or does it not matter?

when you're guitar shopping, you'll find which size is right for you.

most acoustic guitars will seem big for you.  i would try getting an electric guitar next.  they are smaller and easier to play than acoustics because you don't have to push down as hard on the strings
