what guitars do slipknot guitarsts jim root and mik thomson use?

i wanna get that extreme thrash sound they have! i currently have an ibanez sa220 fm. cud i do the same sound with that? if so how?

i have a washburn and i saw my washburn color and all in before i forget so i think they use washburns but im not sure
