Question:

What gutar or amp should i get?

hi i have a squier bullet by fender and a washburn BAD DOG 12w amp, i was thinking about getting a new amp and guitar (i think i want gibson sg or a epiphone sg i cant decide, if u could comment on that to, that would be nice.) i want a amp that sound good for rock/metal i also want one that can sound good without being to loud because i will be playing it in my room,

  1. don't get the spider. you think it's good but then once you use a tube amp you'll realize it's a wast of money.

    Links don't work but i'll try to answer anyways.

    I'm asuming the second amp you've listed is a line 6 Spider. These are good as you can get a massive variety of sounds. If you want to experiment get this.

    Marshall amps sound brilliant but are not as versitile. They are also usually stilghtly over-priced. They do sound good but are not as versitile. If your just going for a staight rock sound this is for you.

    As for the guitar......I'm asuming you want the SG shape. I play the Gibson SG standard, which is awesome but has needed the tuning pegs and nut replaced. These are definitley over-priced but are still probably the best once youve realised what you want from them. I suggest you go down to your local guitar shop and play all the SGs they have and go with the one that best suits the way you play. I doesnt matter about the price or the name on the headstock, its how it plays and how it sounds.
