What hair color do you use?

What hair color do you use? Not just the brand... I want to know the specific color, and if you liked it or not.

Or... do you go to a salon to get your hair colored?

Well I change my hair a lot, but I mostly go blonde-highlites, chunks, or frosting. Sometimes I go burgandy red or red highlites. But for a brand, I prefer Clairold Herbal Essences. If you go red, I would stay away from Garnier, because not twice but 3 times it turned my hair purple from a dark brown! I think it was the deep cherry color and the burgandy.

And if you're like, 3 times?! It was because it was once a year I go red, mostly in the winter and could not remember what brand it was, well I found out its Garnier. In the lime green boxes.

But I really prefer to go to the salon, I like feeling pampered! But if it's like a whole color and not highlites, I would just do it yourself or have a friend do it and save yourself $20 or so. But if it's something harder, I would splurge and go to the salon because it's very easy to mess your hair up doing more dramatic coloring.

I use Manic Panic's Hot Hot Pink, Atomic Turquoise, After Midnight Blue.

I love Manic Panic, it's the best brand for brightly colored semi-permanent dyes.
