What hair color should be put on a passport application if it's "salt & pepper" colored?

  1. I didn't know they asked for hair color. I suppose if there isn't a "salt and pepper" one, then it's up to you. You could either put gray or you could put the color it originally was. I would say put the one it's closer to (i.e. if it's more gray, put that).

  4. I have the same problem.  I use to say brown when I was more pepper than salt, but now I say gray.

  5. you can attach a note to your application stating hair colour, but they will probably call it grey! see what happens or give them a call (ive seen green hair and passport says brown custom officials usually laugh and send them on thier way)its not a major problem.its the face and eyes thier looking at!!!!

    but her's is all grey. if it's more the original color, say brown, then brown would probably be the appropriate answer. if it's mostly grey, then put grey.

    I'm not an authority on passports though, so this is just a guess.
