i want it to be kinda layered choppy medium long as u can see i dont want it short at all bc the only reason i want to cut is for a new style

How about trying shoulder length hair with the front of your hair short like chin length.?

You could always ask your hairdresser what (s)he thinks would look best.

okay well your question is a little confusing....but if you're getting layers, make sure the longest layer is at lease 3 inches longet then your shoulder...otherwise, when you wear your hair down, the shortest layer will rest ontop of your shoulder and get a big loop in it
