  1. Same thing you would do with a bio child...watch them for swelling and any other irritations.

  2. It depends upon the state in which the stinging of the adoptee took place.

  3. How very offensive, The correct term is non-womb-ly-carried-offspring.

  4. You keep an eye on them for reactions, just like you would a bio kid.

  5. He'll cry because it hurts.

  6. I'll bite, too but I really like Phil's answer.

The APs may not know the  medical hsitory of the child (not know if they are allergic to the bee sting).  So, they need to keep an eye on it--  might I add just like biological children, becaue even parents of biological children may not know just how bad their child will react to the sting.

  7. Silly boy, we can't get stung, we're too bitter.

  8. If you're me, you freak out!  But I would have done that with any child - regardless of adoption.  But yes, my son recently was stung by a bee, and yes, I became paranoid!

  9. In my case the adoptee dies.

  10. The pain caused by adoption goes away.

  11. Do you mean to be hit by Mohamad Ali?   Even with Parkensin's the adoptee would probably still get TKO'd.

  12. What a stupid thing to ask, there adopted not bloody alien..!!!

  13. the bee dies because he is soooooo sorry.   surfie, you come up with so many questions, keep it up, i look around the question list just for you.

  14. Tell them to be grateful for being given a better life.

  15. You treat it just like anyone else getting stung by a bee. What does being adopted have anything to do with it?

  16. Same thing as if a non-adoptee gets stung.

  17. Good question.  Bee stings, peanut allergies, all of these potientially dangerous situations can catch you offguard, if the adoptive parent doesn't have any medical history to go by.

Watch very closely for reactions.  I kept a few Benedryl with me for the first year.

  18. Well, first, you petition the court to unseal the records.

Then, when they determine that bee stings are not a medically sufficient reason for opening the records, you find the bee.

If the bee will talk, it might tell you if it has also stung the first mother.  If so, you might be able to trace her through the grapevine, which is often frequented by bees who are busy collecting pollen.
