What happen if my CRB check (not the application) Gets lost in the post? It's being sent to Romania.?

I have a job starting in July. As I am currently living in Romania and going home on Friday I have asked a colleague to check my post but as the postal network in Romania is notoriously unreliable I am concerned the thing won't get there. Can my employer ask for the results? Or can I get a new copy sent to my address in the UK?
