They don't seem to have the horsepower of the others, especially the Toyota's.

  1. the reason i feel dodge is failing so bad is their engine program. toyo was given the best of all manufacturers engine programs to develop a push rod V8, chevy has always had a great small block program, ford has shown times when they were strong, but dodge has always been behind in their small block engine program. before the cot nascar always allowed dodge a little advantage in their areo program to make up for this. with the cot they can't do this, and their engines still haven't caught up.

  2. they dont have any great drivers like Toyota and Chevy do.

  3. Chevy an Toyota are running better

  4. dodge lost some engineering from Mercedes

  5. You hit the nail on the head!  They will be getting a new engine later this year.  Expect improvements then!

  6. Dodge has some bad drivers in their lineup right now. The real surprise is Kurt Busch. Here's a championship driver and he's not even in the Top 12. Ryan Newman won the 500 off of luck and a draft from a driver truly better than him. As for the Toyotas, I'm sick of them. The only reason they're doing good is because of Gibbs. Michael Waltrip Racing is still struggling, Red Bull Racing (except for maybe Vickers) is still struggling, and all of the toyotas aren't doin good but gibbs.

  7. The teams don't work together.  They are slowly being left behind.

The other manufacturers do work with the teams for some things.

  8. They are really struggling right now. Their restrictor plate program seems to be OK but everything else is suffering.

  9. Well, mostly all Dodgge drivers got switched to Toyota,Chevy,or Ford ,so all bad drivers (like Carpentier) got switched to Dodge. And most Dodge drivers were good.
