What happen to the man who attacked another man on the greyhound bus in canada?

man riding on a greyhound bus cut off a man;s head sitting next to him.

He was taken into custody and has been brought up before the court twice.  The first time, he just sat there, completely emotionless.  The second time he appearantly muttered; "please kill me" when the judge asked if he wanted a lawyer.

He is in Prison in Manitoba, he has been in court but won't say anything to anyone accept  he mumbled "someone please kill me".  I believe he is due back in court in September.
