What happen to the pipe water in Trinbago?

Did something happen to d water so now we ha to BUY bottle water? I usta drink from house pipe, stand pipe, and hose. So what went wrong that everybody house pack with case ah water?

Boy, I feel is just education really. De water de same like always, but over time, we get told how bad it is an now people fraid tuh drink it.  Since we people fraid sick too bad, everybody go have a Brita or filtration system or dese ratted cases a bottled water. I eh business though...is long time we had a Brita in de house too! Ah mean yeah, pollution is worse now than ever and that go affect de supply, but really, if we didn't have dat kind a information and testing , we would still be lining up by de standpipe, ent?

dread in Barataria de wata does come brown sometimes and it have ah funny taste.

But up in de Maracas Valley yuh could drink to yuh heart's content de water still nice.

For now i does use meh Brita mug, it better than dem bottle water and it fresh.

As we on de bottle water topic, yuh ever notice who is de big man in de water bizness ?

Who have contract to deliver water to all Govt. offices ?

Even right here in wuk people who doh buy bottle water for dey self when dey home can't drink from de cooler (and it have filter on it eh) they need dey bottled water....foolish i tell yuh.

Dem water does go tru all kinda treatment and sit in de warehouse before it reach you.

Hmmmm man dis bottle water ting does have meh blue vex. Doh even mention de waste it does generate, like de ad say 30 min. on a treadmill forever in de landfill.

well right now water in arouca dutty!

when i say dutty i mean nasty, stink, smelly, oh geeed!!!

an to boot every tuesday, thursdays an saturday night it going..

so is bottled water for everything!!

just to drink a case does done in 3 days!!

i usually drink pipe water, but now when you turn on d pipe, instead of the water white and you waiting for it to clear up, it brown. i dont know what it have in it ... and i not sure i want to find out.

nowaways i does have to think twice about drinking water from d pipe oui. Thankfully, work have bottled water, and d water from home does still taste good.

now it have dem filter things we does use on d line to make sure d water clean b4 it reach inside d house. not me an POS pipe water nah I fraid!

Boy I love meh pipe water (the chlorine effect) and studies show that it is good for you teeth (calcium) the purified process to get bottled water removes that teeth strenghting property!  But of course supplements and the right diet can help with that.

I will drink pipe water from home (Diego Martin) But I will never drink it from work (POS)  I won't drink Tobago's pipe water during the rainy season or when it rains!

As yuh say standpipe - they are slowly fading away...................
