What happend to Hitler's retreat Berteschgarten?

The "Eagle's Nest" is still there. It's reachable by tourbus in the warmer months, closed when the roads are snowy. Partway up the hill there's a museum dedicated to the former n**i leaders...not glorifying them, but telling the story. Also there's access to the bunker system near the museum.

I don't know exactly, but some buildings have been pulled down, others have been altered. The best document i found is this one

Scroll down to the bottom of the site, there is a button called "site map". Click on it and a navigation menu pop up. There can you find pictures taken in the years 1997, 2001 and 2002. Newer pics are not available.

Hitler's former residence is now a hotel. It's popular with US Americans, the locals don't care.
