Makes you wonder doesn't it? More cameras about now than ever before, even a camera on your phone now. But the evidence gets thinner and thinner.

Most turned out to be fake, and the media (especially The Sun) were too embrassed to admit it, so went quiet instead.

The' UFO' sighting at Tern Hill turned out to be flying chinese lanterns lit by the nearby hotel, and released at a party of some sort. How do I know? I live nearby and the local media reported on it. The national media only reported the 'I saw a UFO story'. They were too embrassed to report the truth. Not long after the spate of UFO reportings there was a 'moon' hoax, when a reported UFO sighting turned out to be the moon, which further made any hyped-up UFO stories in the media unlikely.

So basically, a lot of them were proven to be fakes, media who hyped it up found themself in sticky spot, so they shut up.
