If I purchased a pair of Pillows, and brought them home, I can remove the tags, since they are already mine and I got the receipt for them.

The Michelin Man would show up at your home (while you're sleeping, probably) and pull your tag off.  He would explain to you, as you were crying hysterically, that it doesn't feel very good to have your tag pulled off.
