What happends when you get sponsord for bmx ?

Did you talk to who ever approached you? Even before you get a sponsor commitment you should of at least asked what is expected and what the terms are. However were you only asked if you would be interested in a sponsorship deal? Your question seems to imply that a sponsorship was offered, but the sponsor was looking for new a rider or riders and that you might be a possible candidate. Until they tell you what the deal is or you ask you'll never know all the details. I know exactly what my and my sons sponsorship responsibilities are and what the sponsors will provide, but these will not be the same for everyone. Some only offer discounts while the better ones supply parts and service. You need to check carefully what you are getting into and make sure you fully understand ALL the details before committing to any contract.

a sponsorship can be anywhere from discounted parts, to free clothing ....to free bikes, but they can make you do a lot of things you don't want to do if you don't wanna  break the contract like race every day and go to races you can't afford to drive to. read it then you will know what you get.
