What happened? The doctors told me nothing.?

When I was 17 my period was 2 weeks late I went to the toilet in work and noticed that I had started bleeding but it was very very heavy, 5 mins later I collapsed and was rushed to hospital.. everything was kind of hush hush and all i was told nothing except that I had a kidney infection.. its bothered me for years to think i may have miscarried.. Im just curious to see what other people think?

I would see if you can ask your doctor for your medical records. You have a right to know what went on even if you were 17 at the time.

Can you not ask for your medical records to be released and have a look through and find out whats what! Thats what I would do.  Its all your information and you have a right  to look at it.

you were 17.. nothing should have been kept confidential from you.

where im from if they wanted to ask me a question at the hospital they would ask my parents to leave first.. because it was totally confidential. (starting at age 14+)

i would go the the hospital and ask to see your records.

that used to happen to me but i have that thing where i am a heavy bleeded and they told me i had a blood clot
