It was just fiction. The book was like Blair Witch in the sense it asked that the reader treat it as real. It was completely fiction. I loved the film as a kid and vowed to marry one of those girls when I grew up lol

One of the catty little wenches threw the others off the top of Hanging Rock into a chasm and then had to go into hiding. (well in my version of the story anyway). lmao

I actually really loved this book, it totally sucked me in and had me hanging on every page (excuse the pun). The movie was pretty good for that era too. I still enjoy it when it comes on.
