What happened at the end of blue lagoon?

Hey!

I was watching the blue lagoon and I got interupted and then I missed the ending and I really want to know what happened!

Okay I got up to the bit where Em asks Richard to take her to the other island and then she pushes the boat away and he swims after her but theres a shark and he gets into the boat but they lost the oar and he tries to get it back.....and thats all I saw ....I know theres only like 5 or so minutes left of the movie after that....

Does that guy ever find them...their father...or grandfather ...whoever he was...?

And why was she trying to float away in the boat without him?...And how old where they exactly?

the baby grabbed some berries before they got in to the boat and started to eat them later on the parents (idk their names i've only seen in in spanish) see that he had eaten some berries and thought that they were poisonous because the baby (fell asleep?) after wards. after sailing aimlessly for a long time the parents still thinking that the berries were poisonous ate them to "commit suicide" then their father/grandfather whatever saw them in the boat while searching for themwoke them and the baby up (the berries weren't poisonous) and took them home... or somewhere.

They died trying to sail off the island. The baby survived, hence why there is a blue lagoon 2.

that movie is so weird and dumb. i watched it when i was like 10 (7 years ago) and i have no idea why.

The ending was horrible! Absolutely horrible! They they were him in the water and her on the boat and this huge Great White Shark comes by and eats him and then circles around the tiny boat she is in and swallows her up boat and all. There was blood and guts all over the place in the water then the shark swims away. " The End! " Ummm Ok so it didn't end that way but it would have if I was making the movie. The were very young teenagers like 15-16,

They do find their grandfather but he died.  They eventually get rescued after they have the baby.

they end up stranded in the boat for awhile. A larger boat finds them. They both died but their baby survived

What? I thought they survived... They did eat the "poisonous" berries which are actually just sleeping berries, so they didn't die and then a ship approached them at the end. That's all I guess, but I haven't seen Blue Lagoon 2...
