What happened if u workout and dont eat?

My brother wanna workout and since it is ramadan he will be fasting so if he workout and dont eat till later on the day,may be 5 to 6 hours after worout,if he gonna lose fat,gain muslcs.or nothing will change.or get skinny or wat.he will eat but not after workout

  1. if you workout and dont eat you body will basically eat itself because it needs fuel


  2. Ask him to workout after iftaar .. post opening the roza/fast .

    itl fatigue him ..he wont be able to do it more than a day ... !!!

  3. This year Ramadan is going to be fairly long. I'd advise your brother to break his fast at the appropriate time and eat till approximately half full. Give it 3 hours and then workout and eat again in the morning when the time comes to start the next fast.

    He will gain a little fat but will retain most of his muscle mass. I'd also advise against loading up on Kebabs,Samosas And Pakoreh because he will probably gain more than a little fat.

  4. you wouldn't have the energy to workout. Youll fail before you finish your whole routine or you might pas out and end up at a hospital. Good luck.

  5. he will lose muscle because the body will turn his muscle into energy as  he wont be eating much

  6. All depends on how much he eats after sundown. That ultimatly determines if we will lose/gain/maintain his weight,.

    I dont know how ramadan works, but it sounds like it could result in him losing some fat and maybe muscle mass.
