  1. September 11, 1857 is the day the Mountain Meadows Massacre transpired in southern Utah.  Approximately 120 men, women, and children in a wagon train from Arkansas were murdered by a band of Mormons set on holy vengeance.  The Native Americans who were also involved had been spurred by the Mormons, some of whom dressed as Indians to conceal their identity.  John D. Lee pretended to come to the Arkansans' aid, and after having them lay down their weapons in truce, enabled a defenseless bloodbath to ensue.

  2. I don't remember............. is it Important?

  3. On September 11, 1857, a massacre of 121 Americans, from Missouri and Arkansas took place. The dead were unarmed men and women of a wagon train, shot in cold blood by Mormons in Utah. The killers were under the leadership of their Mormon Church, doing this killing in the name of Mormon religious beliefs. They also manipulated and lied to the area's Indians with the sole purpose of laying the whole world's blame on them. This parallels, somewhat, the New York twin towers attack because both were done in the name of their "God" and their beliefs

  4. d**k Chaney was born

  5. Mountain Meadows Massacre. A group of Arkansas immigrants traveling to California were slaughtered by the Morman militia while traveling through the Utah territory. The movie "September Dawn", released last year was about the massacre.

I also posted some information about a massacre that happened in Chile on  September 11, 1973.

I wonder what it is about that date that these horrible things keep happening.

  6. The Mountain Meadows massacre involved a mass slaughter of the Fancher-Baker emigrant wagon train at Mountain Meadows in the Utah Territory by the local Mormon militia in September 1857

  7. The Italian government probably fell on that day.  I remember something about that around that time.  And it led to the eventual formation of the modern state of Italy.  Am I even close?
