What happened to Barbie for President dolls???

There was a Barbie for Pres doll in 2000 and 2004. Where's 2008?? I would have thought that with Hillary Clinton getting as far as she did that this would be an ideal election year for the presidential Barbie....

Mattel decided since Barbie actually has more scruples and experience than Obama they would be unfairly competing with Hope and Change.

Plus the press in its fairness completely ignores her too.

I guess u can say that they kind of retired them. They dont want to lose any business for going for one president because then Obbama supporters would like go on strike and Barbie makers would lose a lot of business.
