Question:

What happened to I love Gonchar?

Been away for a while, and saw that many people have "praying for gonchar" next to their screen name. Wondering what happened, and why we're praying.

As for the question....who's your dark horse for being a cup contender next year?

  1. Thanks for asking the question, boozer, I'm also tied up in travel and summer busy mode, and saw the prayers but not the facts.  Praying anyway - this kind of thing is never easy but can bring surprising good stuff along with it.

Not exactly dark horses, but I wonder if Blackhawks and Lightning are ready for a surge.

  2. Her best friend is sick with cancer and she is spending as much time as possible with her. She also said that when the time is right, she will return. Please, in the meantime, pray for her and her friend

  3. I don't know about Gonchar, but my dark horse would be the Phoenix Coyotes. Maybe they aren't Cup contenders but I feel like they could easily get past the first round. They have a good mix of veterans and youth down there, and they got a heck of a coach behind the bench. They'll be the team to watch out for come October.

  4. A friend of hers has cancer so she's taking care of this special person in her life.

I can relate as my dad was diagnosed with leukemia days after I graduated HS and my brother college, and he died barely a year later.

Dark horse teams: Coyotes in the West and Thrashers in the East

  5. ...thanks for the answers... I too will pray with y'all.

  6. Oilers and Hawks in the West

Hurricanes and Lightning in the East - they'll both definately rebound after a bad year.

  7. Actually it's her best friend i believe.

    but all's the same.

We all hope her and her friend well.

  8. A member of her family is ill(cancer), so she is spending time with him or her. I think her question about it got deleted.
