What happened to JT on Degrassi?

I know JT from Degrassi died but how did he die on the show and what happened?

he went to a party where some kids from another school showed up, he was just about to go break up with his girl because he still loved liberty. he went outside and one of the bad boys  from the other school was pissing on his car. jt said something to him and one of the boys ran at him and stabbed him in the back. he died. liberty never found out what jt wanted to tell her.

he got shot. i dont remember what happened that led up to that but he got shot when he was outside. i think the guy who shot him thought he was somebody else. even though thats a pretttttty big mistake lols

Very sad story, I cried when I watched it. To make the long story short, JT got stabbed by two Lakehurst boys(Degrassi's rivals) because JT was dating Mia,(she dated one of the Lakehurst boys) and they got mad at JT for dating Mia. Liberty and JT stilled loved eachother, by the way.

Long answer to a short question. Some background for you.

JT was dating Mia. She went to Lakehurst before transferring to Degrassi (This will be important to know in the upcoming season). The guy she had her baby with was some boy from Lakehurst. He was pissed/jealous when he found out she was dating JT. Him and two of his friends began starting c**p with JT and his friends and trying to fight him, though JT wouldn't fight. The three of them then ambushed Tobie and beat the c**p out of him one day. It was on! The Degrassi/Lakehurst rivalry begins. Then Manny has a party, some Lakehurst kids show up, start some c**p and then get kicked out (At this point, Manny begins dating a boy from Lakehurst). As JT is outside (looking for Liberty), one of the boys runs up to him and stabs him. I don't know the name of the kid. I am not sure if they ever say what his name is, or just refer to him as the boy from Lakehurst. It was NOT Mia's ex, but one of his friends. The rivalry between the two schools explodes, as it is now personal. Again, keep in this mind for next season.

Well they threw a birthday party for Liberty...and she had told him she still loved him...and when he didnt respond, she ran out upset.....then he realized he loved her still, too....and he left to find her....as he was looking for her in the street, he saw a couple kids from their rival school who were drunk and who were peeing on his car... [these kids were kicked out of the party earlier in the night]...so he walked over to look at the car...and when he had his back turned...one of the kids ran up behind him and stabbed him in the back....he hit an artery or something...and they couldnt save JT
