  1. He ran into Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart.  That cut a tire and he blew a right front and hit the wall.

  3. The three behemoths all got into eachother. Jeff and Jimmie took eachother out by misfortune. Tony Stewart being the third, plus there was another car in a 4 wide situation. When the 48 and 24 got into eachother they both sustained tire damage detrimental to their failure at Michigan

  6. He had some rough luck today. At one point they ran 5-wide, and he and Jimmie Johnson had a run-in, which caused Jimmie's tire to down because of a severe tire rub, and then an odd amount of laps later, Jeff had a cut tire that sent him into the wall.

  7. Blew a right front tire, hit the wall after.
