What happened to Patrick Valenzula the jockey ?

I hope he can make it back for Del Mar.  Such a great jockey.  My favorite moments are Sunday Silence and the time he shaved off all of his hair before a drug test.

HE UNDERWENT SURGERY ON HIS KNEES AND SHOULD BE BACK FOR THE DEL MAR MEET, I JUST HOPE HE COMES BACK CLEAN.

hes been off nursing injuries...hopefully no more episodes like all the 'dirty' tests...and no more robbing cab drivers for cocaine money...hes gotten more second chances than anybody that ever was in any sport...
