  2. i believe he had contract disputes with ufc over a few things. one was that he didnt want to make certain appearances on ufc shows. and something about his retirement after he won his last fight. theres rumours that he is going to be facing fedor emelianenko at some stage in the future. thats all i know

  3. Man people need to learn how to spell "Couture and Liddell" right...must be ignorant newbies to MMA.

    I will sum it up for you...

    Couture wanted to fight Fedor, the UFC tried to make it happen, they threw mega bucks at Fedor, he turned the offer down originally stating he had too much respect to fight Couture. Randy was upset the UFC was throwing at least 1.5 mill a fight to Fedor when he had done so much for the UFC and was another reason why he wanted out of his contract. Fedor then signed with another organization...Randy wanted to be release from his contract to chase Fedor down in another organization. UFC and Dana White said no you belong to us, now hes holding out until his contract will supposedly expire so he can go to another promotion to fight Fedor, UFC says he need to fullfill his fight contract...who knows what will happen but its going to court. The UFC then releases Tim Sylvia from his contract (slap in the face to Couture) so he can pursue other fights in other organizations...how he is set to fight Fedor. Pretty much all you need to know.

  7. At one point Randy Coutoure said that the only person he wants to fight is Fedor Emelianenko, the man many people consider to be the best MMA fighter in the world..

    When Dana White said that the fight wouldn't happen Coutoure refused to fight again in the UFC. Cotoure is still under contract with the UFC and was the Heavyweight champ but he didn't fight so they stripped him of his title.

    Look for Cotuoure to make a move to another company or quit fighting all together

  10. He got screwed by the UFC. It all has to do with how the UFC treats their fighters and champions. Randy wants more money and wants to pick his next fight. Seems as thought the UFC has been doing this a lot lately. Tito Ortiz? I think its time for the Fertitta's to get rid of Dana White.

  11. Randy lied. He first said he didnt get paid then Dana White produced the cancelled checks. Randy retired once then came back for a three fight contract and he only did one. He got stomped by Chuck Liddel then moved up to heavyweight. Randy needs to fight Fedor and either put up or shut up.
