What happened to Rick Roddham, the DJ from Kelly 95.3 in Bakersfield, CA?

I was wondering what happened to him. He used to be on with Darci in the mornings, and i guess I might have missed something. Did he possibly get fired for the American Idol contest that resulted in a guy stripping down to his boxers in the street and almost getting arrested. I have searched the net but can't find anything. And the station has not stated anything.

The station has gone what's called "Jockless." That means they'll be running without DJs for a while. Rumor has it that Roddham will re-apply for the morning show once things settle down.
