This is why cricket is called a game of uncertainties.  Everybody was expecting Kings XI Punjab to qualify for the final because after Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab were the most consistent team.  However, one bad day for their players like Marsh, Sangakkara, Yuvaraj Singh and Jayawardene shattered their dream of qualifying for final.

Looks to me Punjab Kings choked at a bad time. Yuvraj and

Sangakkara both were sent packing their bags by Chennai.

Dhoni should be a lucky chap and some how kept winning at

the right moment.....he is one lucky one and hope he brings

the same luck to India as well.

James is right they choked Also Yuvi didn't do very well in IPL and you can not expect that Sangakkara will score some runs in each and every match. It was Yuvi's turn to stand up for the team But he proved himself a flop of IPL

Yuvraj and Sangakara simply choked in today's game. They simply couldn't handle the pressure of the situation that's all. After having a consistent tournament throughout, Yuvi's KXP failed to rise to the occassion at the crucial semifinal match against CSK today. Perhaps, they took this one too casully, thinking that they would win with ease like most of their other matches. But little did Yuvraj, and his fellow teammates know that Dhoni is the favourite of fortune. So, Punjab's batting line up shattered on the fateful day, and a total of 112 wasn't defendable at all. CSK, led by Dhoni walked away with another easy victory.

Sangakara showed true sportsmanship by walking. I convey my  full regards to him. He made it clear that he truly abides by the spirit of the game, unlike many other players.
