What happened to animeost.net??

Question

That was my favourite site to download OSTs.And I visit today and there's this?!

I'm sort of freaking out!

I hope it's temporary.

Any of you know what could have happened?

The site is out of business, which is why you are sent to a "sponsoring" website.

You should know that making your own website requires money to stay up. If the website doesn't pay enough debt, it will be removed. This is why some sites have "Please Donate to Support" tag so the creator doesn't have to pay too much money.

It can be temporary ONLY if the creator has enough time/money to restore the site up again.

Sorry this happens, but there's always another site you can find. ^_^

Another reason can be that the creator violates the law, so it is removed without any warning (except to the creator).

Well, it wasnt that they ran out of money, because the money goal for this month was reached weeks ago

I have since deleted the email, but it said that the site had been transhpered to a different domain without the permission of animeost.net

They also said that they were trying to restore the site as soon as possible

Hello AOST members,  As you can see our domain animeost.net was recently transferred away to a different registrar without my approval. This is why you ended up a different site when you visit animeost.net. I'm trying to get it back and this could take days. In the mean time you can join our IRC channel for any updates and be able to chat with us.  IRC Connection Details Server: irc.rizon.net Channel: #animeost  You can get your own IRC client by downloading it at http://www.mirc.com.  I'm hoping this will be resolved ASAP. The server is fine, but the domain is controlled by another person. I'll send out another email if there are updates on this problem. Sorry for the downtime.  Regards, DJ XtAzY
