What happened to evil empire website?

I used to download anime and manga from http://the-evil-empire.net but after a week, I cant search the address anymore.

It was once hacked before but at least when I tried to view the page, it stated there that it was hacked but now, I just cant find the website anymore. Does anyone know what happen?

I am curious as well. I hope the site didn't vanish just like that.

One of the staff at the-evil-empire.net stated this comment at stoptazmo.com :

"The site is down due to server problems. We don't currently know what's wrong, but once we do, we'll fix it ASAP. As a staff member of the site, I can confirm that it's not down due to any series that we host. The problem is technical, not legal, and we're doing our best to get it fixed.

Until then, our IRC channel is active at #[e-mail] and you can feel free to drop in and chat. We're keeping the topic updated to reflect what we know about the problem and how far along we are at solving it."
