  1. I don't know.  That happens to me all the time.  YA has a different political view than I do ...apparently.

I asked  "Did you know that planes make clouds now?" and I chose a best answer... they deleted it.

Someone else asks "Are Appalachian Americans the most racists and uneducated sect in America?" ... another question that belittles Appalachians and I report it because it is bigotry.  And they do nothing.

The question also had this statement.."They seem to be easily swayed by the media when it comes to almost anything that is racial in nature. It's pretty sad and weird that there are people in America that still can't think independently of the media propaganda."

YA isn't binded by "free speech" because it is an online community that has a set of rules you have to agree to before joining.  BUT they are completely unfair in how they choose which questions are deleted and which ones stay.  They are most certainly bias to certain political views!  As you know already.

  2. It was murdered by Political correctness

  3. Gone.http://www.rense.com/general79/died.htm

  4. You should take your questions to the real world.

Even though I use yahoo answers, there's no point in arguing about politics and religion on here....people are lame. In real life, they're too timid to stand up for themselves, but its easy to do it online, anonymously.

Tell Mr. Conservative to have fun choosing which parts of his beloved constitution he would like to follow and which parts he would like to ignore.

Edit: Actually, I was on your side. But obviously you like arguing, which is fine....but if that's the case, you should probably get used to thumbs downs and deletion.

  5. Actually, it shouldn't matter if Obama is a Muslim or a Christian.  He is an American.  I didn't see the original question, so excuse me if I'm missing the point.  I usually try to vote for the person, not the party.  Sometimes I vote Republican, sometimes Democrat.  There are a wide range of drastic views on each party.  I don't think anyone is truly a total Democrat or Republican.  That's what makes everyone an individual.  But as far as parties go, each party has to agree at some point in order to get things done as a team.  It's complicated.  Not everyone is evil.  Everyone just has their own views, and that is ok.  But remember there is a limit to freeom.  Even the freedom of speech has its limitations.  You can't go out and yell "Fire" in a crowded area.  That would cause a riot.  All in all, I'm sorry your question was deleted, as long as it wasn't riotous.  :)

  6. Yahoo has nothing to do with the Constitution . Yahoo is a private company and they have their own set of rules.

If you didn't know this then perhaps you are the "dumb one"

People who report others are idiots though

  7. Pls, don't paint all republicans with the same brush.  we're not all the same.

  8. free speech, as a constitutional right, prevents the GOVERNMENT from censoring you.  private companies and individuals can do this anytime and for any reason they wish.  and there isn't a d**n thing you can do about it except whine...you don't have to like it, but that is the way it is.

  9. it wasnt me, but think! think! think! your question was "why are republicans so dumb?"  what purpose does that possibly serve? why are democrats so hateful and intolerant? (oops, did i say that out loud?) lol -------ok, ok, im reporting myself now :(    *update: gahhhhhhhhhhh! i cant figure out how to report myself! why am i so dumb???????

  10. Just because you can say something legally does not mean that you should say it.  Free speech is one thing, but abusing that privilege by using it to call people names is more shameful.  I didn't see your question, but it must have been pretty insulting to get deleted.  Do you enjoy being insulted?  I doubt it.

  11. Free Speech does not apply here.  The government is not stopping you from posting, Yahoo is.  You are on their network, their servers when you post on Yahoo answers so what Yahoo decides regarding what is and is not appropriate is final.  The same would be said if you were on any other server or network.

It is all covered in the Terms of Use, Yahoo can remove anything they feel is inappropriate.  If you don't like Yahoo's rules, no one is making you stay here, you are free to post elsewhere.

  12. this is cyberspace..not the US....you are limited by Yahoo.....TOS

  13. The problem with your question is that you started with a put down, no one likes to be labeled dumb, or stupid, etc., that's offensive.

Now to the question saying that obama is a muslim, the problem there is that we don't know where he stands on religion, he attended that church in chicago for 20 years, now the campaign managers say he has been a christian, we need to know the truth about him, not only listen to his radical/left sided  well written speeches.

And finally, FREEDOM OF SPEECH, dear me, is going, going, going, and maybe will be gone by January 21.............

  14. It died a slow excruciating death under the bush regime.
