Question:

What happened to global warming?

We've had a cold winter and spring, even bringing the global warming crowd inside to avoid the cold during their global warming gatherings. Now that we've had colder temperatures, isn't it time to change it to "global cooling?"

  1. It's been  mix of global warming and global cooling all along, the finger pointing faux-environmentalists just named it global WARMING because that's a scarier name and it will get more people to buy their books.

  2. Just one below average winter, which doesn't mean a thing.  It happened in 1982, 1991-1992, 1999-2000.  EVERY TIME global warming came back stronger than ever.  Proof.

As long as we keep making greenhouse gases in enormous amounts, global warming will dominate in the long run.  It's simple physics.

  3. please lets the heat is killing me

the whole country around me is in a heat wave

we have had temperatures from 45 to 50 degrees centigrade ,that is well over the 100 in Fahrenheit

It has never been that hot this time of year

    bring on the cooling

  4. Global warning is just a bunch of junk science and created by that idiot Al  Gore.

  5. The icy rocks start melting and sea's water level become high enough to flow over all island of the world.

  6. Global warming? You mean that myth that some politicians and environmentalists keep spreading around? If man is responsible, I still haven't heard a good explanation from them how come global warming and cooling have occurred all throughout the history of the planet....gee, maybe there are other (natural) causes for it. But that doesn't sound as scary and it doesn't do anything for the agenda they are trying to get across.

  7. Relax. The Earth is not cooling, although 1934 was the hottest year so far, and temps have been flat-lined since 2000, according to NASA, there is no reason to buy wool sweaters.

I've still got a bunch of carbon credits I need to hawk. So buy your redemption, er --indulgences, er --carbon credits, from me. If you need more, I'll print more up for you.

  8. I know I'm feeling rooked.  Early 1980s Christmas Day, skinny dipping in a lake outside Tallahassee, Florida with couple FSU coeds -- warm balmy day

Today, high priced pool in Tampa home in a primo location and its too cold to swim, in April.  Something ain't cooking.

When does this global warming gig get here?

  9. Conditions over one winter are weather -not climate. Thirty years would be considered climate.

    Skeptic argument.

It was way colder than normal today in Wagga Wagga, proof that there is no global warming.

"Does this even deserve an answer? If we must ...

    Answer:

The chaotic nature of weather means that no conclusion about climate can ever be drawn from a single data point, hot or cold. The temperature of one place at one time is just weather, and says nothing about climate, much less climate change, much less global climate change."

  10. That’s the second time today this link has been posted in a question, average minimum temp in Edmonton is 0.3c in April it is currently -10c nothing unusual in that, it's central Canada what do you expect?

This doesn’t prove anything about GW.
