All the young bowlers failed during the series, with only RP Singh and Ishant Sharma, producing good spells here and there. And Young batsmens like Yusuf Pathan, Robin Utthapa and Rohit Sharma have also failed in the Asia Cup.

Indian batsman practically choked in today's game. Except for a good innings from Sehwag, and to some extent a desperate effort from skipper Dhoni, no one else made a decent contribution. That's precisely  what happens when one is overconfident. India regarded themselves as the hot favourites in this tournament, and underestimated such a formidable opponent as Sri Lanka. Also, no proper strategy was framed against the unorthodox bowling action of Ajantha Mendis beforehand. But such a strategy was definitely needed to tackle Mendis, and it would have been crucial in today's match.

It's another price that Dhoni had to pay for sacking the technically sound batsmen like Ganguly and Dravid from the team. Dada and Dravid are true match winners. But a bunch of inexperienced and technically imperfect batsmen could do nothing to save Dhoni and his miserable team. Those don't know how to play against quality spin are of no use, no matter how young they are, or how well they run between the wickets. On the contrary, Sanath Jaysurya, a 39 year old legend, simply made the best out of the Indian bowlers. It's high time that India realizes the value of experience.

Mendis is a dodger crook, he pushes the ball with the middle finger carom stroke and indian batsman were literally clueless of what the h**l he was bowling ! well to handle crooks like these we need the technical batsman whom Dhoni has kicked out of the team, who can adjust their game with respect to the situation, The crook was to be played with an off-spinners attitude, if these fellows were unable to read him of the palm, these guys were literally clueless and were all over the place !
