  1. No. And I never came across it "before" either.

They are *movies* ~ you know, works of fiction created in celluloid.

They are not real, and all your wishing won't make them so.

    Cheers :-)

  2. Women fought for all the rights men had and found out that it was not so bad when men had masculine roles and women had feminine roles.

  3. Movies are a fantasy for a reason. People watch it b/c it's not real and mundane.

  4. that's why it's the "movies". stuff like that NEVER happens in real life...it NEVER happens like it does in the movies.

That being said, love is still alive and so is romance. there just aren't any unicorns or fairies involved.

  5. I've experienced it with people who are over 30, but I find that most people of Gen Y (currently in their 20's) belong to the generation that has been mostly about hooking up and casual relationships.  When I have dated men in their 20's, that's usually what it seems to be about for them, while some men in their 30's still seemed to hold onto the more Hollywood notions about how to date, romance, etc.

  6. You have to make romance, it doesn't just magically happen.

  7. no, but i wish i did =(

most the guys i know are just pigs, one's hand is always tryin to get down my shirt and another guys beggin me for topless pics. ugh

why can't love and romance still exsist?

  8. LOVE AND ROMANCE!! I love love and romance. I am a girl and I am very romantic. I even go as far as giving flowers(white roses) and chocolate to my boyfriend. And he loves it especially when he is least expecting something. Most girls don't know it but guys like gifts.

  9. Things became quicker, faster, etc.  No longer would a guy and gal typically hold hands and kiss/touch each other for six months.  Today, why the media tells us it's the end of the world so I guess the youngsters figure why wait?!

  10. love and romance? hahahahahaha! what the h**l is that?

  11. I'm gonna repeat what MM said.  Sort of.  Most people are deep, there is depth to them.  Few are willing to let others see that depth, to let one in.  This is why love and romance went to h**l in a hand basket and we go around putting value on superficial things and pretend we're happy and "in love and romance."

People here sometimes talk about romantic gestures - but most boil down to what a significant other buys them... flowers, candy, a "romantic" dinner.  I am sure Baudelaire would be turning in his grave if he saw this S**t....

  12. not too much, people are too busy on their computers and jobs...haha.....and not spending enough time on relationships
