What happened to me? Was I just tired?

Yesterday night I felt like I was having petite seizures because I was buggin out and i kept feeling a sharp pain in my eye and head. I am gettin an EEG and MRI done next week.

Anyways, I decided to lay down before i got up for the final bathroom run and water, and then the next thing i know its 2 PM today and my laptop is on the floor and off and my iphone is plugged in but not into the computer.

Did I blackout? I remember now that I woke up during that time, grabbed my stale soda, drank it and went back to sleep.

The reason I ask this is because I wasn't really tired or anything, but I do think I was having anxiety attacks, and then i don't remember anything after that. One thing I remember is that i had put my laptop on the table with the charger in, and i woke with the laptop on the floor with the charger out. The table was pretty far and i sleep with my door locked.

This used to happen quite often last year, but this is the first time this year.

  1. It could be narcolepsy but I'm not certain.  Whatever it is, you're doing the right thing by getting those tests done.

  2. It sounds as if you would also benefit from a sleep study after the other tests are done. What ever maybe going on, you may also be sleep walking.

  3. you should talk to your doctor about this. maybe it is sleep walking. I don't know what else to tell you. Are you on any kinds of medication?

  4. tell your doctor.  i don't think you were just tired, something must have happened.  get studies done as to why this may have happened, it may be something out of your control or something you may want to have watched.

  5. when you have the tests done, they will be able to see if you have had any seizures-it sure sounds like one. a lot of times, after a seizure, the person is tired, and just falls asleep- that sounds like what you did too. don't worry too much, if it was a seizure, they have medication that will help you, and you will be feeling fine in no time.
