Last night I got very sick. I started to breath heavily I got a sore throat, fever and I felt very nauseated. It lasted most through out the night.

I had a lot on my mind about lots of different things, could what I had be a panic attack last night or should I worry about it being something else?

  1. It sounds like you experienced a combination platter, there is a possibility what you experienced was a panic attach, that would account for the heavy breathing if you do not have a history of asthma. Sometimes these occur after periods of extreme stress. You may have eaten something that did not agree with your system this would account for the nausea, however, that is often accompanied with panic attacks. The sore throat and fever, if they have not persisted could have been in congruence with whatever you ate. Try to remember what you ate that night and if it’s something you normally do not consume. I would check with my doctor if the sore throat persists. This may sound unbelievable but there is a positive correlation between individuals who are prone to stress/anxiety disorders and streptococcus (symptoms: sore throat, fever).

  2. Sounds like the flu.

  3. It sure sounds like a panic attack but just to be sure you should contact a doctor.

  4. Did you check your temperature. In a panic attack there is no fever.

  5. Its either a flu or panic attack !i

  6. I've had a panic/anxiety attack. You didn't. What did you do differently on the day or the day before? Usually, you can think about what you ate or did a day or so before a problem like that & you'll discover you might have ate a different type food or did something else differently than usual.
