what has happened to mtv? all the shows suck now. now they have the hills, wild n out, busted, parental control. that's all they show now. back then were the days when they had viva la bam, jackass, rob and big, wildboyz. what has happened to mtv? and don't forget the osbournes.

MTV died almost as soon as it was invented.

I haven't watched MTV for years. Everytime I flip through the channels I see a monkey by the name of Lauren Conrad.

You named the shows where they break stuff and do random things,

MTV cannot be based off ONE fixated genre, there is a whole world of audience out there, each person with a favorite show,

and if im not mistaken they still play those shows, They are re runs, they dont make new episodes because the shows didnt make mtv enough money to make a new series!

So to answer your question nothing happened to MTV.
