What happened to my Excel cells?

Question

They appear to have colour fill but I can't set it back to normal.

This happened after I changed the colours of a pie chart.

check and see if there's a "conditional format" assigned to it.  Excel allows you to set the format of a cell based on certain conditions. If the condition is met, the format of the cell gets changed automatically.

select the cell.

in excel 2003, go to Format > Conditional format

in excel 2007 it's on the Home ribbon
