What happened to my cat?

He is a ragdoll...he's only 3 he'll be 4 in december. The other day, he was acting a little strange like he wanted attention so i pet him and then i went down the steps and told him to come with me...but he didnt then i came up not even a minute later and he was howling layin g on his side and shaking back and forth and slober was coming out of his mouth. when he stopped shaking he just layed there, so i pick him up and put him by food and water and he ate and drank and now he's fine...what happened, are these like symptoms of anything?

He had a seizure, take him to the vet now!

obviously you know he had a seizure, unless your just a little kid, so get off the computer and get the poor cat to the vet there could be problems that you dont know about.

He has had a seizure. Take him to a vet.He could have brain

damage or some type of neurological damage.

I think he might have rabies.  Just a guess.  Make sure that his shots are updated and take him to the vet.

OMG you didn't call the VET? I would be so worried!! I have a rag doll and she is a has high blood sugar and has to have insulin shots 2 times a day.  Shaking could be a sign of low or high blood sugar or some seizure. I say call the VET ASAP and find out whats wrong, don't let him do it again, you may be able to help him NOW not when its too late GOOD LUCK!
