I see he only completed 50 laps. Didn't get to see the race.

  1. Go Kyle!

  2. he dropped a cylinder or broke a tie rod - at least that's what all the commentators were guessing.  tony's car had a similar problem before the race and they replaced the engine - that's why he moved to the back before the start.

both the #18 and the #11 had similar engine problems (denny's came in the final segment, putting him out of the race).  the commentators, and i believe both kyle and tony had said they were testing a new engine package.  remember earlier this year, when they were having all the engine problems, with a more more powerful engine?  they switched to a more toned down version since then. this was the first test with a supposedly "improved" version of the original engine.

notice that tony ran great through the night back on the old engine package. guess it's back to the drawing board.  scary though that they've been running on a toned-down version of the engine.  just wait till they get the kinks out of the new one.

  3. His engine blew, and later Denny Hamlin had the same problem..

and it's Rowdy Doody, thank you very much!

  4. if it were junior who blew his engine, all the haters would be on here talking about how he drove the car too hard, putting too much strain on the engine, causint it to blow up.

  5. Ol' Rowdy Busch blew an engine. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Tough luck for Hamlin. He could have won it. Kudos to to the #88 pit crew for screwin Jr's night. Came out of the pits 13th after entering the pits in 2nd. Thanks guys. Kasey Kahne, the fan vote winner, congrats on the $1,037,000 checkered flag you took last night. Good to see you back in a victory lane somewhere. Oh, and Elliot Sadler. Why does he think that he was "flat taken out"? I may have had a few barley pops in me last night, but, Allmendinger tried to put his car in an area where it wasn't gonna fit. Bad judgement call on him.

  6. He blew his engine. Ha, ha, he deserved it. He of all people shouldn't be the one to get 1,000,000 bucks. Kasey Kahne really deserved it. He really shouldn't have had to been voted in. He's a great driver, just not recently enough.

  7. MoPar rules baby! Maybe it's a sign of things to come. Once again Kyle was running scary fast, but he's not in a Hendrick car anymore. Congratulations to all the fans who voted in the #9 Budweiser Dodge. Penske Racing looked good too.

  8. Man do I hate Howdy Doody!!

  9. who gives a s*it??

    #9 all the way baaaby!!!

    woooohoooo

  10. he melted a cord or something like that and dropped a cylinder
