What happened to serial order reading of posts?

It used to be that I could read all the day's posts in numerical (chronological) order. Now all my Groups have changed to reading by "subject," a real pain. I made no changes to any of the 8 groups to which I belong, but all have the same problem.

Sign in to your group and click Messages.  On the far left column, and right above the first message, click on the "sort by date" down arrow.  That will put messages into date order.

when you're on your home page, above the archives you will either see-

(List as Individual Messages)

(Group by Topic)

I imagine some how one got clicked by accident. click and that should fix it
