What happened to the 20 piece chicken McNuggets?

None of the McDonalds in my area serve the 20 piece Chicken McNuggets anymore. They said it was a corporate decision but i can't find anything about that on their site. Now you have to pay even MORE for 20 pieces. What's up with that?

McDonald's varies from region to region, depending on the corporate or franchise decision to menu and prices.  If it isn't a big selling item, then they make the decision to discontinue it.  We still offer the 20 piece, and the 50 piece, but I know that they aren't really big sellers like the 10 or the 6 piece.  We may sell 1 20 piece nugget per day, and maybe 1 50 piece nugget per week...So, it may depend on either your state region corporate office, or if it is franchised owned, it may depend on the franchise owner's decision.

Since, they have to pay for the mcnugetts maybe it was expansive to get those bought so they took them off the menu so they could save money.

What you talking about?  They sell the 20 piece where I live, though in two 10 piece containers.

the packaging cost were considered when you can use 2 10 pieces that was available anyway and one less item to stock and get damaged during storage

i noticed that they finally switched the 9 piece to a 10 piece..  unfortunately I was shorted 1 nugget on my 10 piece..  so mine was still a 9..  b******s.

I just bought the 20 piece for my 2 yr and 3 yr old last night.  Must be franchisee decision.  Try the next town over.

yeah i noticed that NINE YEARS AGO(The 50 piece also went away with it).Well I guess the company took it away cause of the low demands.I mean how many people will eat a 20 or 50 peice mcnugget.I mean with the cholestral(i sepelled that wrong)and fat and calories.Nobody wants that anymore espiecialy with the obeisity(speleed that wrong)
