Question:

What happened to the 'Headlines' for my stock portfolio?

For years I had several 'Headlines' listed (news in the last 24 hours) in a separate 'content box' next to the content box which contained my stock portfolio. Now it is gone! I can't seem to get it back. It is the only reason I kept MY YAHOO as my home page. Now I will be looking for another if I can't get it to return. Anyone else have this problem?

  1. I also lost this information when they updated the format of the system.  I emailed Yahoo directly and have not received a response.  You can still access news stories if you open your portfolio and scroll to the bottom of the page but the stories are in chronological order not symbol order which is cumbersome.  I hope they reinstate the "Headlines" for the stock portfolio as I also found this to be very valuable.

Further to this, I emailed yahoo the source code and they responded that that they found the problem and will reinstall the feature hopefully by the end of August 2008.

  2. I lost the headline under each symbol taken from my portfolios.  Haven't been able to get a response or an answer to why and when I can expect to get it back.  If it doesn't come back soon I will have to go to another service.  Come on on Yahoo, say something!
