Does anyone know what happened to the Harry Potter Lexicon? It was there yesterday and now it's gone.

  1. J.K. Rawlings filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the website owner.  She claimed he was lifting portions of the text of the various HP novels and using them as '"definitions".

    The matter was settled out of court.  Both parties agreed not to disclose the settlement terms, but one of them was obviously that the site should cease operation.

    It is gone and will not be returning, not at least in the form it was previously.
