George Bush took his eye off of bin Laden and attacked Iraq.  Nobody is more responsible for dividing America than Bush, although conservative talk radio is a close second.

I think that incident forced peoples heads out of the sand, but the media has refused to show the images on TV anymore so they don't incite anger or fear.  People have convinced themselves that it can never happen again and buried their heads again.  We do need each other and we do need to stand together.  Thank you for bringing this up.

What love? I am one of those 30% that was mad as h**l at NORAD and did not believe that our self defense system went down that day!

I knew that we could have shot those planes down! So did anyone who works in and or around the military...

That said I was confused on that day how it could have happened...until I heard that d**k Cheney was in charge. And then we hear that higher up in the FBI refused Colleen Rowley's requests for a FISA warrant (only the fourth such refusal since the 60's!) So I am still mad as heck at the idiots that put that neer-do-well in office. What did they expect? That he had a big turn-around? Changed his SOP?
