What happened to the PATH station under the World Trade Center on 9/11?

The Path station got crushed in collapse of the towers ,the entrance World Trade Station for the transit remained in tact the rest of the station eas gone,until building #7 came down and took out the rest . The tunnel leading to the W.T.C. on the #1 had colums coming through the concrete ceiling they looked like twislers candy. The whole area in general was just a mess.

It was destroyed in the collapse of the towers... however, a new station was built and opened in November 2003
