What happened to the Stimulus Check that was supposed to come in July?

In May I received $600 for myself when I was supposed to receive $900 for myself and child. What happened to the other $300 that they were going to send out in July?

My Husband got his late so he received his whole $900 for him and our other child he claimed.

Are we not going to get the other $300.00 or are they reneging on that, too (along with everything else the Government says their going to do)? I don't necessarily NEED it, but if someone says their giving me $300....then I want my money!!!! :)

Did you and your husband file a joint tax return for 2007?  If you filed separate returns (with each of you claiming one child), you may not have had enough income on your own to qualify for the full $600 rebate for yourself.

What might have happened is, they paid your husband the $300 for one child, and from what I read, you filed separetly and claimed the other child! They may have put your whole family together and figured incorrectly, the two of you had only one child!! Like both of you claiming the same child twice! Call them up and explain you and your husband have two children, sound like you and your husband are not living together!! But maybe using the same address!
