What happened to the Walls of Jericho?

Question

Since his return to the WWE, has Jericho actually beat anyone using the Walls of Jericho? I've seen him use it a couple of times, but each time he has, it's been broken or the wrestler has reached the rope.

What's happened to it? It used to be one of the best finishers in the WWE, but apparently it is now second fiddle to the Codebreker.

As a bonus, is the Lionsault no longer a finisher? What happened to that? People seem to kick out of it all the time.

Because, somewhere along the line, it went from a devastating finishing move to where it is now, when people barely even lift the guy's legs off of the mat.  It's not even believable any more.  The Rock did the same thing with the Sharpshooter, he made it look absolutely terrible.

Plus, at Wrestlemania, Jerry Lawler accidentally called it "the Liontamer" and probably got screamed at for it.

i dont know i was wondering the same exact thing. he is trying to get everyone to like him more than anything so when he is wrestling he is probably thinking of what the crowd thinks other than winning the match. he says he has "matured".

I don't know, but the Codebreaker sucks! The Walls of Jericho and the Lionsault are better.

Meh, Codebreaker isn't even that impactful to be called a finisher. Gail Kim has it as a normal move, and it's not even her finisher.

For sure Walls of Jericho hurt more than Codebreaker.

I rarely see Chris doing the Lionsault too.

I don't know. Jericho has changed so much now that he is nothing but an idiot. I wish he would turn Face again so we could actaully enjoy seeing him. His promos are so boring now-a-days!

The Walls of Jericho was the old Jericho's finisher before he left in 2005. When he came back he was the "new" Jericho that uses the Codebreaker. It's just a change of move for the change of character.

I know, It's just been changed now to like, A move to create time really and get the fans in suspense which doesen't even happen anymore because everyone knows the opponent won't tap.
